Title: Picsynth V3 chip
Post by: jamiewoody on January 21, 2011, 09:02:21 PM
i know this topic is around this forum, but i thought this chip needed it's own thread! lol

seriously, i have been reading data sheet on it, and it has some good features. it is "digital", but i suppose the keyset can be dig and the rest can be ana and still be FAT! ;-)

it looks like it intelligently scans for notes, and makes your synth easily polyphonic. that is great and all, as keysets are not an easy concept for a hacker like myself to grasp. but, here is a loaded question...can one use this chip to make a keyboard MONOPHONIC?! javascript:void(0);
