Title: Casio SK-1 Not Powering On
Post by: M4RK on December 30, 2011, 01:15:16 AM
First let me say that troubleshooting electronic equipment has NEVER been my strong suit. That being said, I could really use a little help with my unbent SK-1. Basically it's not turning on. It won't power on with an adapter or batteries. The connections from both the battery pack and the adapter look good. I'm not sure if something is blown on the board or where to look if it was. Nothing looks burned up to the naked eye, but it's an untrained eye that's looking. any advice would be great, thanks in advance.

Not sure if this helps but the power on switch on mine has always been dodgy. Needs a little persuasion to power up.

yeah, try bypassing the power switch with some wire and see if it comes on.
