just got one :D
no i'm not going to bent it !!
what a beauty....
i exchanged it for my modded poly800, can you imagine ?
best deal i've made so far
means no circuitbending in the near future,it will take loads of time to play with it and figure how to program ,
but she's worth it.
any tips from people that know the vz-1 would be welcome !
gearlust is happyness !
I used to have a VZ-10m (the rack version), well actually it was a Hohner HS-2E or whatever its called but its exactly the same thing just in a silver case instead of black. It had some brilliant nasty digital basses if i recall correctly, and i would have loved to learn to program it more but i just didn't have the time as it was way to complex. Its one one those synths that you can dedicate your whole life to. like a DX7
Lovely machine but i'll stick to my CZ-5000 ;)
One thing you want to make sure of, check all the ribbon cables are securely mounted. I had some bizarre things happening on the screen of mine until i unplugged, cleaned and replugged all the cables.
Cheers ! nice one !
i already noticed some strange behaviour on the display :-\
now i can take care of that when i open her up, i was already thinking to change the
internal battery anyway .
yeah , i know what you mean...i find my cz101 also more accesible...but the looks
and the feel of this vz1....pure class. even if i never get something decent out of it,
i would't let it go i think.
did you ever had an evolution evs1 ? a British synth i think.
circuit bent by nature i would say.guess you'll need several lives to know what's
going on in there, but with the random patch generator you can come
quite far. their real cheap also.
