Title: Casio Sk-5 and mini synth from MFOS
Post by: flapi on September 29, 2008, 01:13:43 PM
Hi everybody !!

Hi everybody !

I've made some circuit bending, but i'm kind new in analog synth. I have a new project, but i don't know if it's possible or not.
i'd like to bend my sk-5 ( it's not a problem !!), but i also would like to insert in a mini synth from MFOS ( http://www.musicfromouterspace.com/analogsynth/SOUNDLABMINISYNTH/soundlab.html )
Do you think that i can control my mini synth with my casio ? Do you have any idea to do that ?

I hope you will understand my question and my project, and i hope that someone will answer me !
Thanks for all, cordially,

i'm not sure what kind of keyboard mechanism the sk-5 uses, but MFOS also has these:

http://www.musicfromouterspace.com/analogsynth/KEYENCODERPCB/KBDMATRIX022005.html

depending on how the sk-5 works. i'm building a soundlab now and plan on incorporating it into a crappy MLM organ i got at a thrift store using the board from the first link.
