hi im new to circuit bending so go easy on on me. i just got a realistic concertmate-360 and i want to do a couple of mods, nothing major. i want to add a line out for recording/headphones but also keep the speaker and have a switch to change between the 2. also i would like to add a led to indicate when the powers on.

how do i do these, i tried to add the line out by wiring my output jack the the speaker but the output was too high and i got a loud fuzzy noise.

please help, detail would be helpful as well as diagrams or photos

You can probably add an LED by wiring it into the positive power line after the on/off switch. You'll probably need to wire in a resistor depending on what voltage the thing is running on. Try this calculator thing to find out the value:
