Nothing circuitbent here, but I was stress-testing my Linux audio setup with a lot of Calf effects plugins (four reverbs, a phaser, a tape echo, a flanger and a compressor).  Why Calf?  Because kfoltman bitches about how CPU-heavy they are and how he can't seem to get them to be less gutsy ;-)

Anyway I knocked together a wee sequence using some sampled drums off a soundfont and two nekobee plugins and a shitload of effects, and it actually turned out pretty well.  I might work this out into a proper track if I get time.

If at first you don't succeed, stick it through a fuzzbox.

Reminds me of Eat Static for some reason, or maybe something on Platipus records, if they even exist anymore.

That reverb is lovely, especially on the snare. Its nice to hear a bit of reverb on stuff these days.

What happened to all the reverb on electronic music? Everyone seems to be under the impression that you have do do all your mixes as dry as possible these days. Personally i've always prefered a bit of size and space.

EDIT: curiously according to the time i appear to have posted my reply an hour and a half before you started this thread
i am not paid to listen to this drivel, you are a terminal fool
