Korg MicroSampler - Bendable?

I know this might be a little more expensive than your usual bending project, but I am strongly considering buying myself a Korg MicroSampler... one of the most desirable keyboards on my wish list and very much a modern interpretation of a portable, battery operated sampler.  It has 20 minutes of DVD-quality sampling time and can even fully emulate (with incredible accuracy) the limitations of an 8-bit sampler.  It is the single, most AWESOME portable sampler I have ever seen and would love to know if it is bendable.

I'd want to fully research it first and get to know it's internals from every angle before I open it up and rip into it.  It's not really a toy as such and if it could be bent then I'd turn it into a keytar and install all the bending mods and switches on the keytar itself, so as not to ruin the keyboard.  Perhaps a switch or two on the MicroSampler wouldn't harm it too much, but there are already so many dials and switches already that I don't think there'd be any room inside it for any kind of a control surface.

Ideas, comments or suggestions anyone?  :)

why would you want to modify such a great instrument already?

The question should be... why wouldn't I?  ;D

It would be done purely to enhance and add to it's existing feature set, not to detract or screw up what it already excels at.  It would be nice to see just how far the hardware can be pushed and just what kind of sounds can be created with it when the circuits are messed with.  The fact that it is far less forgivable, due to it's high quality, is where the challenge would be.  It would be the kind of bend that leaves minimal modification to the keyboard and allows for greater manipulation of the sounds going in and coming out of it.

I think if it was do-able then it would be a fantastic project to work on.

And I'd probably buy 2 just so I could mess around with one of them and bottle-feed the other! LOL  :D

Well if you would find some bends which changed the sound then you would truly have created a super unique sound, becouse no-one have ever dared to mess with this instrument. ;)

Just thinking about it scares the hell out of me!  :D

haha, but hey.. why not try to bend the kaossilator to begin with?

That's a great idea.  Don't know much about that one, but I know it's cheap and affordable enough to experiment with.  I just hope the technology is not too sophisticate and integrated that it becomes nearly impossible to find any decent bend points!

well it wont be easier with the microsampler for sure...
