It certainly looks like it would use to same chipset. On the other hand theres more than one version of the Hing Hon chipset.  :-\

i would love to find another one of these.  (hing hon that is).

has anybody ran across a bend on this, where you can tune the notes way down to sub-octave levels? on my concertmate-300 i discovered that, and it sounds sooo goood! ;-)
"gravity...it's what's for dinner!"

is ~$25 too much for one of these? What do you think? It's hard to find one wich is cheap including shipping

if i had to guess, i would say no. i dont think the hin hong has volume buttons. i think there might be too many buttons on this keyboard to be a hin hong. it looks like it has a record button? i'd say pass. there will always be more.

You can get those for about £2 in the UK. All they are is an extremely unstable analogue oscillator with a keyboard thats basically a load of resistors strung together with key contacts. Its more or less a really cheap stylophone with keys.

There not really a lot you can do with that unless you just want an audio oscillator for some reason.

it sucks to find good keyboards around here... anyone knows a good webshop for keyboards like the hing hon with free or cheap internationall shipping??
Dealextreme should sell those things, would be sweet.
