could i use one 1/4 jack output for two apc circuits? like say i just wired the two outputs together and then the grounds together and soldered them to a single output. would this cause unwanted distortion?

thanks in advance.

"unwanted"... distortion?  I'm not familiar with the concept.  The more distortion the merrier!

If you want to combine two Atari Punk Console outputs into a single jack, you'll probably want some sort of simple mixer.  Circuits for these abound on the Internet.
If at first you don't succeed, stick it through a fuzzbox.

hmmm...this sounds similar to another thread i just posted to.

do you have a breadboard? do you have crock clips? if so, try it out!

i hooked up my take on the APC and a 555 tone generator in one box. nothing special, just both circuits to one 1/4 phone jack out. in theory, i thought one circuit would not effect the other, but they do! controls for each works for the other, even when switched off! (and each circuit can be broken via toggle switch).

though i could not explain it, i welcomed this happy accident! ;-)
