i finally finished this today. all it needed was a 1/4" output jack.

two controls photocells controlling pitch and speed.

i like these molded "case logic" brand cassette tape carry boxes to  build these projects it. they are a comfortable size, and look cool! i wish i could find many different colours in these!

the box is big enough for a couple more circuits too.
