newb question - voltage starving

Hi,

I thought I would start off with the easiest way to bend, voltage starving. I solder leads to a pot, sandwich the pther ends of the leads in foil and stick them between the spring and battery. however, there is no difference when i turn the pot. 

is this because not all circuits can be voltage starved, or I am doing it wrong?

the pot is A100k if that makes a difference.  I'll try to attach a pic of the pot and a pic of the circuit board for reference


secondly, i have had a good poke around this board and can only find a bend that speeds up the clock. Is it true that blob circuits (like this one) are mostly unbendable?

Hi Nibtgom,

not sure if you figured this out or not but the potentiometer needs to sit between the red wire to the circuit board and the connection you removed it from on the battery case/holding so you're reducing the amount sent to the circuit.

I hope that makes sense.

Out of interest, what toy is that you're bending? Did you find anything else interesting?
