Vtech little smart phonics

OK, so I picked this up from Goodwill a couple days ago. So far, I have found a connection that glitches the toy (albeit a really weird sounding one, low pitched glitching, cycling through some things, then it crashes) OK, so what can I do to help with that, and are there any other bends?
