Im pretty new to circuit bending, ive just finnished my Yamaha PSS-20 with interesting results and now ive opened up my concertmate-380 to have a go with that... but i was wondering

do you think an old sony walkman can be circuitbent? im pretty sure there is one laying around my house somewhere and im thinking it could get some unusual results, considering it can be made to record, so it could be like a bent recorder recording a bent keyboard or something... i dont know. any body tried this before?

There's a thread in the Effects forum, you can turn them into nice analogue fuzz boxes by swapint teh tape head for a line in.

yeah, was messing around with one once and started out doing the normal distortion box deal, then I started looking for bends on it. It was actually pretty cool and something I would like to try again. I had some cool bendish stuff going on and then one day I was playing with it and probably poking around places I shouldn't have been poking and I fried it. So I was pretty upset about that and just made my next one into the good old distortion box. But like I said, I'd like to try to explore some bends on one again.
