You lucky people! Not only is it bank holiday weekend in the UK but to make things even more exciting heres the next demo tune i did for the next circuitbent sounds sample pack coming out on Loopmasters.

Its four styles in 4 minutes agains and as with the previous one, every single sound on here comes from a circuitbent machine. The last section is about 85% Casio SA-1. Some of you might recognise that bassline  ;)

Before someone points it out, yes i know the second and third section sound a lot better than the first or fourth bit. Thats because my Absolute 4P monitors died halfway through putting this thing together and i had to finish it on my normal Hi-Fi speakers.  :(

Anyway, here you go:

hey wicked  :o
that bassline.. hoped to never hear it again  :P
anyway, for me you are already the winner of the circuitbent competition !

Tyler1144

I hear....roland tr 909.....glitching speak.....yamaha drum machine (the one with real hittable pads).....playskool telephone.....casio sk1, sa1 bassline with distortion and filters.....and some undetermined tones and sweeps....

lol i cant tell what a lot of them are... did you use flstudio?

What all did you use?

Circuitbenders

Off the top of my head on that demo theres:

Yamaha DD6 (that'll be the one you're thinking of)
Casio SA1
Korg Poly800
Mattel Synsonics
Korg DDD5
Sampling Borg teddy
Speak & Spell
Speak & Spell (early raised key model)
Casio SK60
Casio SK200 (maybe)
Yamaha VSS200
Fraktal Synth
Some bongo toy
TI Computer Fun
Some ELC toy
A bizarre toy that asks questions in some weird japanglish language
TI Touch & Discover
Alesis SR16
Korg MR16

There might be a few more things but there were so many i've forgotten

It was put together using Nuendo for sequencing (no audio) and an Emu E-synth sampler, mixed on a 24 channel Studiomaster desk . The SA1 bassline went through a Boss SE70 auto-wah and distortion

is it possible to get a soundcloud plug-in for the forum?

Theres an industrial steppy bit?

Actually i have no idea what that means so there may well be an industrial steppy bit, but i just don't know it.  ;)

I was looking for a soundcloud plugin earlier today but it appears that there isn't one yet.

Yeah, the second and third sections are cool.

Second section is some kind of electronic dub isn't it?

Circuitbenders

Thats was the intention, although surely if you put a dub bassline on anything electronic then it immediately becomes electronic dub  ;)
