Dangers with bending synths?

Are there any dangers with bending battery-driven synths that one should know of? Iv got a yamaha pss 270 i wanna play with.

Like physical danger?  No. The only time I've hurt myself working on keyboards or other electronics has been due to sloppy inattentive tool-work and never from electricity.  Any given PSS keyboard probably has less than 9 volts going through it.

There is always some margin of danger, however, that you could break whatever you're working on.  It happens, but happily only in the minority of cases.
