Hi, it may seem like a stupid question to seasoned benders out there but when I press the switch between one of my bends I initially get a thud like the sound you get when you turn on a guitar amp it then works fine and causes no problems.  Is there any way of avoiding this like putting a resistor or something before it?

Any help will be appreciated.

I know this toggle switches.

From my experience with guitars ive found its normally because of the flicky thing in the switch is momentarly switching all the switch outputs on and this makes a thudding sound. I just replaced the switch with a better one and it was fine.

I'm not sure what causes this problem and whether you can help it but it could be something to do with the current going to the speaker.
Yer well.............
