emu proteus 2

i bought this unit some weeks ago with a broken powerboard.
this morning i found a dvd player in the garbage, swapped the powerboards, and the proteus works again
btw, nice to know that (most) dvd players have a nice symmetric powerboard inside with +/-12V and 5V..
anyway it is a nice module with actualy very good orchestral sounds
so i would hate to blow it. but the sound roms have a certain atraction to me 
so has anyone experienced this unit yet, and what shout i take care of when i bent it..
