i have notices, casio ESPECIALLY, the battery compartments exist in both the lid and well of the case.

my point being, once the keyboard is open, it is near impossible to power via battery compartment. power is needed to probe for bends. i have found this to be very frustrating.

what is a practical solution here? is there a good type of universal wall wart adapter? what are the dangers?

a serrogate battery compartment, using a spring to "dummy up" where fewer batteries are needed? this could be harvested from an old tape recorder maybe...

i apperently fried something on my concertmate 500! i had the voltage set at exactly what was printed on the box.

Bogus Noise

A battery holder and a couple of crocodile clips normally does the trick. Can make it easier to test voltage drop crashes as well.
