Bending a DDD-1 just means finding the ROM chips and shorting the pins together. I can't remember off the top of my head where the ROM chips are on a DDD-1  but i think they are around the middle of the bottom board. Take a look on the TIPS pages of the site for advice on working out which ones rae the ROM chips

Does your's have the sampling board installed? Despite every DDD-1 i've ever seen claiming to be a 'sampling drum machine' i've never actually seen one with the sampling option on board.
i am not paid to listen to this drivel, you are a terminal fool

Hello, many thanks for your answer,
i will try to find the ROM chips and shortcut pins. Is there a danger to fry them (should i use a mega ohm resistor between the bending test probes or is a resistro not necessary ?

You mean the optional DSB-1 sampling board ? No there is no one installed in mine. I have only 3 ROM cards:  Rock1, Rock2 and Variation3 (Bass).

Would you recommend to use resistors for the bent shortcuts when using a patchbay or switches ?
For the VL-Tone i used RC-circuits with the bent shortcuts.

Cheers
